Mindfulness for Families,
an Introduction

This five-part series is an introduction to the kind of mindfulness I teach: clear, flexible, and designed to work with family life—not in spite of it. You'll learn a practice called See Hear Feel, which helps both children and adults train the skills of mindfulness in everyday moments. It's simple to learn, powerful over time, and easy to weave into real-life settings like playtime, walks, rest, and emotional moments.

  • A clear understanding of what mindfulness really is
  • A concrete method for practicing it—individually and together
  • Guidance for introducing it to kids (without pressure)
  • A bigger-picture view of how mindful awareness can grow across generations

Part 1 of 5

What is mindfulness?

This video introduces the core idea behind the kind of mindfulness I teach. Instead of aiming for calm or quiet, we approach mindfulness as a skillset—something anyone can build, one moment at a time.

Part 2 of 5

What is See Hear Feel?

See Hear Feel is a simple, flexible technique that helps kids and adults build mindfulness skills in everyday life. In this video, I'll show you exactly how it works—and how you can start using it, even if you're new to meditation or always on the move.

Part 3 of 5

How to use See Hear Feel in real life

You don't need a quiet room to practice mindfulness. This video explores how See Hear Feel can be used while walking, resting, parenting, or just going about your day. This practice fits naturally into the flow of family life—and even a few seconds at a time can make a difference.

Part 4 of 5

Practicing with kids

This video is all about how to explore See Hear Feel with children. You'll learn how to model the practice in playful, age-appropriate ways—without forcing or formalizing it. Whether your kids are curious or couldn't care less, this gives you tools for introducing mindfulness gently and authentically.

Part 5 of 5

The vision (why this matters)

In this final video, I share the larger purpose behind this work: helping kids grow up with awareness as a natural part of life. You'll learn how See Hear Feel can provide a shared practice and language in your family to support one another, and how simple habits today can lay the foundation for resilience, presence, and connection over time.

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or educator—welcome. I'm glad you're here.
