A half-day retreat for families to slow down, connect with nature, and build a mindfulness practice that lasts beyond the day.
This mini-retreat is an opportunity for families to slow down, explore nature with fresh awareness, and experience mindfulness together. Through guided practices and open exploration, you’ll deepen your connection with the natural world while also gaining a simple, powerful tool—See Hear Feel—to bring mindfulness into everyday life. More than a single afternoon of meditation, this retreat helps families gain a shared language of awareness, making it easier to support each other’s mindfulness practice over the long term. (To learn more about this practice and how it works in a family context, you can check out this short video series.)
This program is built to support the ebb and flow of family energy—parents and kids can participate as much or as little as fits their needs in the moment. Best suited for kids aged 5 and up who can engage in gentle, open-ended activities in nature. Younger children are welcome, but please note that caregivers need to support their child throughout and might not be able to fully participate in adult mindfulness segments.
